In 2006 we made the decision to use Liquid Ceramics paint , excuse me, "Coating" (as they are so particular to call it) verses installing siding.

Our home has nice carpentry work that I didn't want to be hidden with siding. We did alot of research and were really led to believe this was a long lasting, viable product with a Lifetime "Transferrable" Warranty. (I would also mention that the Better Buisiness Bureau is a farce. I've been missled by them on a number of occasions).

The paint was applied in July of 2006. The cast wasd $7,300.

We have a medium blue siding with white trim. On October 2008,

2 years later, I was sending my first certified letter requesting warranty due to excessive fading and deterioration of the paint. My concern at the time was that they had applied the paint in the heat of the day while the sun was shining directly on the side being painted. One side of the house and an enclosed porch area still looked ok, but rest of the house was fading really bad. It was embarassing as a painter lives next door, and a professional carpenter several houses down, and they both noticed how bad it looked after 2 years. There were other application issues I won't go into, such as doubt as to how many coats were actually applied (underneath many boards only had white primer), damage to property from cleaning out the sprayers (they cleaned out sprayers on my newly re-finished fence) , ect....

To their credit, they sent an "Expert Applicator" out to recoat the most faded areas. They painted sections. After another 2 years, same results along with the other other areas not re-coated. What an awefull mess!!! . My house looked absolutely horrible in a shorter length of time than normal latex paint.  I promise I am not exagerating at all! I also was seeing the bubbling that others have mentioned.

I sent another certified letter. They came out and informed me of new ownership, problem was with application, and they would repaint. They were slow at time, and said would be out within 2-3 weeks.

I called after 1 month and he acted like he had forgotten. He assured me they would be out within couple weeks. Another 2 months and I didn't hear anything.  I have since just licked my wounds, and started the process of painting myself with BM Aura paint. It looks soooo much better. I had painted a couple areas 4 years ago and they still looked much better than the Liquid Ceramics.

This is a rip off product. I think the owners really believed they had a good product to start with,

and were sincere, but the product does absolutely not perform as advertised. They can conveneintly attribute all problems to the applicators, vrs the product, and you end up with no realistic course of action. The applicators are here today and gone tomorrow. Bad , Bad, Bad, deal.

The latest rep in the Carolinas is Mark Tkac out of Raleigh NC. I haven't heard a word about our warranty, paint samples, ect. Beware!!!  Choose another route if you want to eliminate 3-4 year painting. Go with Hardie Plank, Vinyl, or something, but deffinitely not this product. What an absolutely aweful dissappointment!

My wife and I had Liquid Ceramic applied back in 2012. It is now 2017. Mark tkac came out to our house and he spent one hour inspecting the out side of our house. Our house had a lot of outside issues. He wrote up a report on all of the damage and he even had solutions to our issues. He was well prepped and he explained to us in details, the why's and if's. We decieded to hire him to restore our outside structure. Mark's employees were corduall, very neat and worked hard. They would even stop their work and asked if it looked good and asked if there is anything that we didn't like. If there was any additional damage they would either fix it our if it was major stop and contact Mark and he would come out to inspect it...

Liquid Ceramic/Mark Tkac, over delivered on everything that was explained to us. We were well informed anything that they did. they always let us know where things stood. He also explained to us that to ensure the life expectancy of the product,. maintainance was very important. Pressure washing the house twice a year. Mark Tkac said that this will help the house breath buy keeping the dirt and grime off of it. We followed his suggestions and washed our house twice a year and it still looks good. I fell sorry for the customer that had it applied by the old Liquid Cerimic, but i assure you if it were Mark, it would have lasted as advertised..

We bought the company and unfortunately acquired some warranty issues. But I can assure you that Liquid Ceramic is a good

product. I am not responsible for any past warranties since I have not nor,  has the new company worked on the job. Liquid

Ceramic in the past used Sub-Contractors that were inadequate to apply the product. The product is a good solid product if

applied correctly. I am unfortunate to see that a past customer had to deal with the old Liquid Ceramic. But I am confident

that this product is a solid alternative to painting a house. And will last for years to come. I ask you kindly to not

to condone me our our product, we are not the one who hired inadequate workers nor did we apply it.... I would appreciate it if

you would attract your statement...
