I found numerous complaints about listia.com I also see that Listia erased all of it's wall complaints on it's facebook. I personally lost over 7000 credits to due to listia's practices even had a fake item sent to me with out being credited back. I can assure you these guys are scams! worse than ebay, although they sell fake products as well!

LISTIA IS NOT A SCAM

I have been a member of Listia.com for several months and all of the people that are claiming that they are a bidding prop site are ignorant.  They were simply outbid just like on ebay by an opposing member that wanted the same item that they did.  For instance, an apple ipad sells for about 100,000 in credits.  A brand new member only starts with 450 credits.  As you can see by the math...... They will be outbid if someone with more credits wants the same item and has submitted an autobid to do so.  I will prove to anyone that wants the proof that they are not a scam by showing them my account everything that I have won on there.  Losing credits by receiving a fake item is not something that Listia did... Listia doesn't allow fake items to be sold on thier site by their users and Listia is not the ones that put the item up.  One of thier members did.  The reason that this person lost their credits is because they COULDN'T PROVE that is was a fake item so they come here to defame them instead.  If the person that is claiming to have been scammed was actually scammed then Listia would have done something about it.  They have deleted multiple auctions because the lister was selling a fake item and they would return the credits so someone that was sold a fake item if the winner PROVED IT!! This woman obviously didn't have the proof for listia to return her credits or they would have.  All that's going on with all of these people that are claiming to have been scammed are ignorant people who didn't take the time to learn anything about what they are reporting to be scams.  I have one question for all of you..... How is it a scam when you sign up for free, you bid for free, you win for free, and you sell for free????  Where exactly are they benefiting from that????
