There has been 2 separate occasions where I was scammed on Listia. Once by just a user and the another time by Listia. I will explain both incidents separately below.

The first time I was scammed I had won an auction but the seller never responded to get my mailing address or send it. So I had paid 1000's of credits just to be ignored by the user. I then opened a dispute that the seller had never responded. My dispute has gone unanswered and my credits simply still in Listias possession, so as far I am considered I was scammed out of those by Listia since the credits never went to the other user and Listia never answered the dispute which is still open to this day...

The second time I was scammed I won 4 games and were stated that all 4 games worked perfectly by fluttershy. So after winning the auction and receiving my package I see that it was only 3 games and 1 game does not work at all. So really it was only 2 games. I then opened a dispute about this and after doing so fluttershy started harassing me daily and then blocked me so I can no longer try to resolve the dispute. The 18 year old girl went on to say its not her fault I am not intelligent. She also claimed I don't know how Listia worked and she was just going to block me from doing anything about it. But I guess she failed to realize Listia is just 1 website on the internet and after already sending an envelope with her information on it, blocking someone from Listia won't get your name and address back off a sent envelope. Anyone that has the basic know how could use that data to gather any and all the data they want. Remember kids it is the internet in the year 2012!

So I finally have been contacted and was told that I am going to have to pay to ship the item back to the 18 year old scammer. I find it strange how much Listia support scammers and harassment. I know I am not the only one experiencing problems with this company as a quick google search for Listia and Scam will give you more then enough stories from it's many users that have been scammed, harassed and ignored by Listia Inc
