First and foremost im sorry about the problems you are having here. I know how difficult it can be sometimes to get charged for items that you dont reconize on your statement. I have to say though live ops would not charge you for magazines the magizine direc t charges you for the magazines. Live ops with your permission to do so will forward your credit card info. to the magizine company. When you call in to order various products from out infomercials at the end of the call we do offer magizines as well as other products and with your "yes" and only with a "yes" do we send your information to the mag. dept. Live ops is very strict with this and we first have to get you "yes" to the offer then another "yes" for the approval of forwarding your info to the mag. dept. All of our calls are recorded and monitored. As a live ops agent we strive to give our clients and customers the utmost satisf action and quality assurance. Also you may be able to hear the recorded phone calll where you answered "yes" to magazines by calling the customer service dept. of the product you purchased. If however you didnt answer " yes" the agent is in for some serious trouble. We lose our contracts for that. Hope this helps. GOOD LUCK, GOOD HEALTH TO YOU AND WE'LL KEEP STRIVING TO TAKE THE VERY BEST CARE OF OUR CUSTOMERS. sincerely Kristi - liveops

Liveops is a company who places orders for many different products. If a phone call was made for one of the products liveops sponsors then there was more than likely a part of the call when the agent asked the caller if they would like 3 months of their favorite magazine. If the person agreed (and only if the agent got a clear yes) then they would then tell the terms and conditions. The terms and conditions would have stated that they have 3 months free and if they don't call and cancel they would be charged for the remaining issues for that year. This is always clearly stated. If they forget to cancel they have two months from the time they are billed to receive their money back. Also liveops wouldn't be paying the money back but it would be an affiliate of Liveops called Magazine Direct. If anyone is at fault here it would be Magazine Direct not Liveops. As an liveops employer we strive for the utmost respect and honesty. I hope this will help solve the issue.

I am an independent contractor with LiveOps and we do offer affinity offers at the end of each order placed. One is magazines, however, People magazine is NOT one of the magazines we offer. You must have placed an order for a product you SAW on television, which LiveOps takes calls for several of them, and we offer special bonuses at the end of orders, one being magazines. You didn't call anyone to order the magazine, you would have called someone to place an order for something else you SAW on television, in an infomercial. Hope it all worked out for you!

This magazine offer would have been presented to you at the time you placed an order for a product featured on a TV infomerical. You would have not called LiveOps to order the magazine. The live ops rep you spoke with is propably required to offer these magazines subscriptions to you. I have heard from co-workers of mine that they sometimes refuse to place your order for the product unless you accept the magazine offer and maybe sometimes they will put in you magazine order if you refuse. Usally the offer allows you the receive the first 3 months free but will continue automatically and a charge on the credit you used to place the order will appear. These are not unauthorized or fraudulet charges, it just seems that way because they put in the order against your wishes. all magazine order that synapse group receive feature our patented continuous service so they will continue by annually charging your credit card until you call to cancel. there is nothing wrong with this and it is legal.
