Living Nail formaldehyde based nail growth product ruined my nails -refund refused Greenwich Connecticut
Auntie Gwennie sells formaldehyde based nail strengthner called "Living Nail". Guarantees it will work or your money back."Living Nail" dried and split my nails vertically so I asked Auntie Gwen to return my $18.00. Her product had made my nails worse than before I started using it.
She told me I hadn't adhered to the prescribed plan on how to use the product(although I had). She told me to keep trying. I refused and asked for a refund. I mailed the product back to her. She said no after lengthly arguments so I said sent the product back and I'll try again.
Same results again. Now I'm stuck with an $18.00 bottle of nail polish that is injurious to my nails. I'd like help getting my money back!

I have used the nail strengthener Living Nails for many, many years and have never had a problem with it. My nails grew longer and faster and stayed harder with this product than any other. I had a hard time finding this product in the stores and was elated when, at last, I found it online. I ordered 2 bottles-one for me and one for my mom who started me using it. When I went to re-order I found that it was no where to be found. I am so disappointed. The only thing I can think is that if it caused someone problems they probably did not follow the directions....it very important to use the cuticle shields.
I found the product to be very effective and wish it would come back online or to the stores. If it ever does please let me know.

I am writing in response to Ruth M regarding the Living Nail product. I have used this product for over 30 years and I love it.
I had a problem with soft and peeling nails and was advised by an employee in a drug store to try Living Nail. In less than a month my nails were stronger and no longer peeled. I followed the directions and never once had a problem.
I have received many compliments on my nails, some from professional manicurists. I will share some suggestions as to what I think makes this product work.
Start with clean, buffed nails. Apply Living Nail as directed and give it a few minutes to be absorbed. Apply nail polish. I do this weekly.
My nails are strong and healthy looking. I do not abuse my hands, but I do housework, gardening, typing, etc. I wear gloves for some chores.
This product does work.
