I purchased travel insurance through Travel Insurance. I traveled to Egypt in July and my baggage never made it. I did not receive compensation from the insurance company until mid-November, four full months after my baggage was lost. The compensation was for $1,200 despite a loss of about $2,400. The insurance company was difficult to work with and only paid the claim after I filed a report here on Ripoff Report. So thank you to Ripoff Report, but I would pick another insurer if you plan to travel.
