Just Filed a new deed in Dane County and got a letter in the mail with a $89 Bill for a property records report from a company called LOCAL RECORDS OFFICE. If you don't read all of the 'fine-print' you would not know that they prey on people that just don't read the fine print. This company is a SCAM and will only send you info you already have, there is NOTHING that you need them to do. They are a waste and they are trying to prey on people's supidity to send them $89 for info that is public record. LOCAL RECORDS OFFICE in Madison Wisconsin is a SCAM in my opinion.
