This company does nothing and is paid millions of dollars by the state of new jersey. Nothing but complaints, investigations, and bad news reports from around the country and corrupt New Jersey renewed its contract. I can call for my own transportation and make demands when they show up late or not at all- now the logisticare middleman requires you call them and nothing happens. I was stranded in the doctors office and they had to call for 3 hours to try and get me home after a procedure. I wrote letter to NJ senators about logisticare (they need to be called uncare), NJ.com and new 12 did negative reports on them and they still have a multi-million dollar contract for providing zero services.

I started requesting bus cards so I could be assured I get home. Now the logiticlowns in altanta want the phone operators to call to confirm all appointments. OK that is fine, but they will not stay on the phone long enough to confirm the appointments. I spent 3 days on the phone with logisticare and could not get my bus card because they would not wait for the office to answer the phone.  They stated medicaid requires that they do this and the state says they did no such thing, now I was told it is a logtisticare policy. Logisticare does nothing worth the millions they are paid, and now they have a policy to even screw up the bus card process.

I get the bus card because logisticare is unreliable and their contracted drivers never show up or show up in a broken vehicle. I had one transportation company show up in a van that was smoking like it was on fire and fumes filled the car...and was one hour late to pick me up. Hence the bus card, and now they are making it so difficult to get the card so as to force people not to call for it anymore. That trick will not work as I am filing complaints with every agency in New Jersey until this is resolved or the contract is canceled with logisticare.

Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. We appreciate your feedback and consider constructive criticism an opportunity to improve our service. Since we do not know your identity, we cannot investigate your claims or provide a resolution. If you’d like to submit feedback via the WeCare form on our website, it will be routed immediately to the New Jersey Quality Assurance team so we can personally follow-up with you to resolve your concerns.

Regarding our New Jersey services, there are a few factors to keep in mind.

  • Per our contract with the state of New Jersey (3.5.1 and 3.5.2), we are required to determine  eligibility for New Jersey FamilyCare/Medicaid transportation services prior to each trip. This includes verifying transportation necessity by confirming appointments with medical providers.

  • The mass transit policy enacted by the state has not changed. Each member requesting mass transit passes must have five or more trips per month to receive a monthly pass. Members with less than five trips per month are eligible for single trip tickets. Please note requests for bus passes and individual bus tickets require a notice of five to seven days. If you would like to submit a WeCare form about this concern, we would be happy to further investigate the matter.

  • In New Jersey, our 200 dedicated employees and 170 contracted transportation providers manage more than six million rides annually for more than 1.5 million members to and from approximately 2,700 medical facilities. Since 2009, we have maintained a 99 percent complaint-free program and have consistently met or exceeded the state’s program requirements. Throughout 2017, we’ve worked with our transportation provider network to ensure at least 90 percent of vehicles were equipped with tracking technology.

In closing, at LogistiCare every member and ride matters, and more importantly we’re ready to assist you. Please contact us at any of the following:
