Looc Studio Furniture Company Matt Carfaro Paid Deposit on Furniture, Never Received Furniture or Promised Refund High Point North Carolina
I ordered a piece of furniture from LoocStudio. I was working with the owner Matt Carfaro who kept promising me that the piece was going to be shipped. This went on for six months. Ultimately he texted me and asked if I wanted my money back. I said yes because it was taking too long and lost all trust in Matt Carfaro and LoocStudio. The reason I am filing this complaint is because I was never returned my money!! After doing research, I have found numerous complaints made against Matt Carfaro and LoocStudio.
It appears that it is the same story with all the disgruntled clients. Matt Carfaro promises furniture and then never delivers. One person complained that he was sent a bounced check! Matt Carfaro also ignores all complaints from the North Carolina District Attorneys Office and Better Business Bureau of North Carolina. In the past year, there have been four complaints submitted against Matt Carfaro and LoocStudio.
His actions are the same in all four complaints, he ignores them. LoocStudio has earned an F rating from the BBB. Internet research has also shown that Matt Carfaro owned a company called Ava Furniture in Georgia where a complaint was filed against him because he did not deliver the furniture or refund the client's money. I urge all potential clients to not purchase furniture from LoocStudio. You do not want to lose your money!!

I finally received my refund after setting up a payment plan with Matt Carfaro. I believe that he was going through serious personal problems that he allowed to affect his business. I still believe that LoocStudio makes beautiful furniture and I do hope that I can order something from him in the future.

It is imperative that you contact the North Carolina Department of Labor. This way there is a record of your complaint. There are three complaints made against Matt Carfaro/LoocStudio to the Attorney Generals Office and they are compiling information on him. You need to contact Julie Daniel at the Attorney Generals Office. She can be reached at 1877 566 7226 if you are in NC or 1-919-716-6000. It is imperative that Matt Carfaro is stopped from victimizing more people.

I know all to well he doesn't pay his employees unless they push & if they aren't working for him at that moment might as well kiss it good bye. Him & his crooked partner (salesman) Markland Beck always lie & b.s. Everyone. Business writes bad checks to all vendors when they write a good one they stop payment or remit. All they do is try to look good yet they don't. Matts a good guy but is a total lier.
I worked there a short time after a friend told me about the place. He never has money to buy supply's or pay bills & sherrif constantly comes serving papers. The suntrust bank should have put a stop to him a while back. Why they haven't I don't know. Why vendors & customers just let it go I also do not understand. They were talking about moving to the Hickory nc area I'm sure to escape the problems. Definitely crooks & deserve what maybe coming!
