In response to the guy who complained, and the guy who responded. I have had nothing but problems with Low Country. First my stuff was picked up in a fast manner, one day turn around. I called on a Thursday and they were there Friday. Now, on Friday, they were suppose to be there at 11-2pm, they showed up at 8pm. Then, my contract states there are no hidden fees, no fees for wrapping and sure enough, I was chaged a fee for bubble wrap and boxes.
Now, I was suppose to have it delivered in 5-7 business days. If you start on July 1st, seven business days would be July 12th. I called on July 12th at 4:30pm. They close at 6pm. When I called, I was 1st told that somone would definitely contact me before they closed. Nobody did. As a matter of fact, I still have no clue where my stuff is and today is July 19th. It is now 5pm on July 19th.
I have tried calling the company, and after the first three times theyu answered the phone, they no longer will. Matt, who wrote my contract, was wonderful....especially since he was the one getting credit for the contract.
Now....we finally got the number of the driver, he asked us "do I have your stuff?" Umm...see the problem here? I am very upset that accodring to my contract, I should have had my stuff on the 12th. Nobody will talk to us and everyone says, let me call you back and NOBODY EVER DOES.
So, my contract and Low Country are liars and theifs. They broke my contract by not sending it when they said they would, and by chargng me for things that are suppose to be free (wrapping, boxing, and who knows what else), and the driver says he does not know who we are and doesn't even know if he has our stuff. I am writing a complain to the BBB about this and I am expecting money back due to the problems we have encountered (that is if anyone ever calls us back again).
And just so you can't say I have never had a contract number with LC, I can say it starts with C54****. And the person I talked to is [email protected] Their info says (and I copied this from the invoice i recieved) DELIVERY POLICY: East Coast Delivery Time: 5 to 7 business days.
It doesnt say about, or that times limits may change.
So, where is my compensation for being without my stuff for almost 3 weeks, (currently 13 business days not counting Saturdays & Sundays). and for not being given any call back about where my stuff is and when I will get it? This si a rip off and I WOULD NOT USE THESE GUYS IF YOU VALUE YOUR POSSESSIONS. I regret it every day and unless I get my stuff, I fear I may never see it again.

As a proud manager at Low Country Van lines, I would like to challenge this complaint. I would like to ask for an email address and proof of the contract that was signed with my business. The allegations in this complaint our very disturbing.
Never, and I repeat, Never has Low Country been contracted to do a move for a Michael out of Pampano Beach Florida. The reason I found out about this report so soon, is that I received a call from another moving company ( which I refuse to mention and be on their level) stating that they had just went and posted a report about my company on the internet.
They really went overboard by being racist and saying that my crew did not speak english, (which they do, very well I may add) what would it matter if they had accents. Another thing you mentioned here is about the urinating on the floors. Really ? I don't think anyone in any industry that is a human being would go and urinate on someone's floor. Sad, very sad. Last but not least, you mentioned trying to get your deposit back, please tell me what you put down for a deposit. This way my clients can see these allegations are untrue and disturbing.
I wish you and your business the best, but please don't try to take down a reputable company.
I am asking for proof of these allegations
