Don must have stock in Lowe's, or something. The minimun wage including Virginia is over $5.00 an hour unless he lives in West Virginia and is a coal miners son. The issue is the $50.00 rebate, not the fact that I may have let the sales person pursuade me into a higher dollar amount. Does Don have a wringer washing machine on his front porch and is just jealous that I can spend close to $1000.00 on a laundry pair? Lets get this back in to perspective, I only want the rebate owed to me.
First of all, Don from Virginia doesn't have a dog in this fight, and his comments are irrelevant to this situation. I have contacted the local store that I purchased the washer and dryer from, and they agreed to give me the $50.00 rebate check that I am looking for. As of now I haven't been there to collect the check, but will let you know if they are going to refund the $50.00. 5/2/2003

Or could the problem be a stupid consumer that let a $5.00 an hour salesperson talk them into buying something they really didn't want?
Put the blame where it belongs, on your back, not the salesperson.
