Complaint Review: Luba Skibo Slum Lord - sugar hill Georgia

Stay clear of renting a house from this women for sure this address. Beech Tree Hollow Sugar Hill Ga.This house is invested with rats. As well as YOU will be harrassed from day 1 of moving in and be under a microscope from the nieghbors. She has the next door nieghbor take photos of any activity and guest comnig to the house. The carpet is thrashed and is 10 years old. In her mind she belives the house is brand new. From the day we moved in the following happened to the house and none was fixed properly.

Give her a deposit and you will not get it back!

Week one my lawyer was helping us move in the AC went out in May. AC came out said filters where dirty and needed to fix a fuse.

Her respones to us was we cut a wire. 

The upstairs toilet backed up to the point it over flowed in the downstairs ceiling. We called her she said my kids must have stuck a toy down it. My kids are 10 they dont have toys other than x box. LOL Are plumber came out and stuck a camera down there after hours of attetmting to un clog it. He found built up grout that someone had put down there. Maybe the last tenants she evicted.She did not pay that plumber got another one and he said the same thing build up. They had to cut a hole just like the last plumber STATED. In the meantime the water built up and drained all over my couches suer water. The couch later started ripping.

 Her resposne are fault

The next issue was the fridge that does not stay cold. BTW 10 years old. 

Her response we must be putting to much food in it.,REALLY?

We fully repainted the  basement for her had to have it cleaned cause we moved in to a dusty filtly house she claimed was spotless. LOL. Are maid found dog female blood on the wood floors, filthy vents, grime a foot wide of slime under the fridge. 

Her response that house was spotless/ NOT

The sink in the kitchen that she had her son replace was not tight so it leaked to the point it built up in the basement celing and leaked over my 50 inch brand new tv. 

Her respnse are fault

She asked for the balance of the deposit of 1400 when we gave her 1000 already. 2500 one month we where not even living there. And 125 over the asking price PER MONTH. We only did this cause we have 5 kids and we needed to rush in find a place in the same school district. BUT The minute we brought the rats to her attention and asked for a inspection on the house have her sign the house is in good condition and we are not at fault for any previous issues. WE where THEN served a 3 day eviction notice. So we moved out. She took us to court was only awarded that rent for that month when she sent her husband asking 4500. LOL. We met her to give her the keys and like we knew she started nit picking the house down to a crum in the oven. A smear on the cabinet. We for a third time had the house professionally cleaned. We cut the walk through off. Cause she wanted us to pay her first the rent and she would then give us the deposit. We know that would not have happened. We took 100s of photos before and after as well as pics of rats in the garage the size kittens. That owe BTW chewed threw my kids motor cycle wires. We are now counter sueing her in state court. 

Beware of this house and renting from this women.
