lutrellshutzhaus internet scam- no delivery of purchased product Baltimore, Maryland
Purchased a German Shepherd pup from supposed breeder in Baltimore. Sent cash via Walmart direct transfer. picked up by Henry Achu. Dealt with by phone and email with Jeffrey Hazzeal. Originally they called their site: Russel Friendly Companions. the offer was free shipping which most all breeders in US do. Mr. Hazzeal said he took pup to airport to ship and was notified of a change in insurance regulations by Maryland and they wanted $970 for insurance to ship the pup. I noted that the pup who I supposedly purchased for $550 was valued at $1300 which of course upped the premium. they said the money would be returned when the pup arrived. How was not specified. I refused and said that wasn't part of the deal. he then said that he found another carrier who was willing to forget the insurance part but needed $300 for shipping. Hazzeal said that they refused to honor his free shipping ticket. I said forget it, send my money back. He stalled for a while and Kept emailing him and received an email that they were working on getting my money back to me. I have copies of most of the emails with this man that show proof of what i am saying.
This has been reported to the FBi in Baltimore but I have not heard back from them. Intend to call them again today to see what is happening. I filed a legitimte online claim form at their request.
I have read the other reports from people who have been fraudulently conned by these people. As of today, their website Lutrellshutzhaus is still up on the internet. their pups shown are the same ones that I originally saw on their frist site, RussellRoyalShepherds.
they are clearly a fraud and I wonder how at this point they can be officially shut down and those people arrested and put in jail.
