I want to complain about LYCAMOBILE, they were cheap but they steal your money whatever they can. They were withdrawing money from my account  without my consent. I regret had not checked my statement periodically but its because I didnt use my bank of ireland acccount that much.

When I called them, they said I had 2 bundles, both for data, one monthly and one every week wich doesn't have any sense. I top up once in their website so they withdraw money 5 times per month. I was angry  because I know I didnt authorize it and the only thing the customer agent said was that he was going to cancel it straight away and I don't have to be worry anymore about withdrawals on my account.

What is my surprise that they took about 4 times money again from my account, even after I called them and they gave me their word to cancel the boundles.

I sent an email to complin anyway, and one guy replied to me after 5 days or more of "investigation" they sent me this:

This is with reference to your enquiry about the deactivation of Data Plan from your Lycamobile number 353899722148.

In regards to your concern, please be informed that we have successfully deactivated the latest Data plans (both weekly and monthly) active on your Lycamobile number 353899722148 and have re-credited €14.98 into your main balance. This can be observed by checking your remaining allowance by dialling *131# on your phone with Lycamobile sim card.

Also please be informed that when the weekly/monthly Data Plan was activated online in January 2014  there is a checkbox which needs to be checked. It states “Please click to disable the auto renewal, by default auto renewal will be activated”. As it was not checked hence auto renewal happened on your Lycamobile number and as per terms & conditions it uses the same card details used for first time plan activation.

Furthermore, please be informed that as per our terms and conditions, unfortunately on this occasion no refund is applicable on already expired bundles.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused.

Please note 2 things, one is they are saying they do not offer refunds for expire boundles....boundles that I never used and they know it and also that I never authorized!!!

second: they carelessly say that when I top up as I didn't unchecked a bottom , an automatic renewal was activate... shouldn't it be otherwise? Check if I want an autorenewal.

They are not serious. Their just rip off, They play with your money and also if you call to stop those renewals they will not do it, you have to keep complaining and calling and sending emails again and again.

I wanted to use lycamobile for cheaper calls and all what I got is time lost and about 200euros less on my account !

People do not use lycamobile look for other companies to call abroad, a more responsible company. Lycamobile is just rip off !

PD: I called bank of Ireland and they didnt do a thing, they say they will stop it but the reality was that I called them 3 times and they lycamobile were still taking money. All what they said was the it was my responsability because is the other company who is making those withdrawals.. bank of ireland is imcopetent to stop unauthorized withdrawals. I swear I was desperate. I considered to close my account with them.

At the moment of this writing I even dont know if lycamobile will this time cancel it from good.
