Brand new GE stainless steel french door fridge PNE35JSKSS delivered Oct 28 2017, from Bad Boy in Barrie. Refrigerator did not cool, remained at 60 degrees F, called BadBoy who advised to call GE Mabe in Mexico,  first service call could not be arranged until November 13th .  I took morning off work to receive the service person who examined the fridge but could not fix it.   Then new motherboard had to be ordered and by November 27th still had not heard back from service if part arrived yet.  Phoned service and learned part had arrived on friday nov 24th and they were" just going to call to let me know it had arrived".  Only service available was between Monday to Friday 9 to 5 pm , arranged partner to return home early from work for friday December 1st. Service man installed motherboard and in 24 hours fridge had only cooled to 58 degrees and now is 60 to 62 degrees F.  Called mabe saturday dec 2nd and spoke to Tibo about the above.  

Tibo at Mabe said warrantee doesn't cover relacement but that he could have tech return again and report this to his manager. Tibo said it would take til monday dec 4th to reach the tech and 3 business days to reach the manager.  Meanwhile I have lost 2 fridge loads of food to spoilage.  By Dec 4 noon, still no response so phoned Bad Boy Barrie the retail outlet where I purchased fridge.  Spoke with Glen the mgr at Bad Boy who gave his sympathy and called back to say that he called mabe and escalated the service call to a manager.  tuesday dec 5th, service tech- local from Top Tech  left me a voicemail that he was sorry fridge not working and that he had had to request further information from the manufacturer and would call me when he had a plan.  I called top tech technician thursday dec 7 morning as still hadn't heard about a part or a plan, had to leave voicemail for tech.  tech responded 1530 dec 7th that he was now waiting on a sensor and another part and would call when it came.   Friday Dec 15 after work I called mabe as STILL haven't heard from mabe or top tech and fridge still not working and has NEVER worked.  Mabe said  they could see that my concerns had not yet been assigned to a manager and that  they can't do anything until Monday. I asked to speak to a manager and was told there are about 10 managers who are corporate and only work mon to fri 9 to 5,  and they are in moncton nb but he doesn't have a name or a phone number for me to call directly. Meanwhile, we have no working fridge and Christmas is next week.
