Mademoiselle Spa, has really rip-off its members, They have going out of business. What's going to happen to the members who have paid their membership up to 2005? Will we be reimbursed. I went to the Club two weeks ago and a sign was posted on the door stating your membership will be honored at Lady Fitness. I went to Lady Fitness and they wanted me to pay a whole new membership fee to join their club. I would like my money back.

I recently read the complaints made against Mademoiselle Spa, and just wanted to make a few comments. I have now been a member at this particular gym for over two years, and disagree completely with the statements made in the Rip-Off report.
The staff is very courteous and friendly, and the gym is one of the cleanest I've been to. I frequently see members of the staff wiping down the machines while I'm there working out, and have not once had to stand in line to use a machine (even when going during the "peak periods", after 5pm).
In addition, I've very rarely seen machines that were out of order, and not once have I seen the whirlpool shut down for any reason.
While I admit that I don't get a monthly weigh-in, etc., it has been my experience that if you ask one of the staff members for help, they are very eager to do so. Overall, I've been very happy with my membership, and can only imagine that the negative comments made in the report came from someone who decided they just didn't want to pay their bill...
