Magazine Service Center is a ripoff; Billed for magazines not ordered. Nationwide, Connecticut
Today I received a bill for a CANCELLED Discover Card account. On it were two magazine subscriptions that I neither ordered or authorized. I reported this to Discover and called the number on the statement "800-607-9869".
I got a voice activated response and using the option offered, cancelled both the magazines, however, I am really upset that this happened. I have no idea of how they got my Credit card number!
By the way, one of the magazines for they charged me
$21.00 has an actual rate of $16.97. The other, for which they charged $25.00 has an actual subscription price of $21.96.
