On Wednesday, 12/12/07, I took delivery of a 2005 Cheverolet Colbalt, VIN 1G1AK52F157560078, with mileage of 28261, 4-door sedan with deposit of $1,000 ($500 paid with CASH on Friday, 12/14/07, and the balance of $500 paid with my M&T Check Card on Saturday, 12/22/07) sold to me by Salesman, Brad Silver (410-961-1208/cell #). My job closed for the Christmas School break from Friday, 12/21/07 through Wednesday, 1/2/08, and Danny the manager stated that he wasn't able to verify my employment and wasn't able to finalize the deal, even though he had copies of my current paystubs verifying my Year-To-Date earnings. On Saturday, 1/12/08, I was told by Danny that I needed to return to have the AutoTrakk Prepaid Transportation device installed on my car; which I did after work on Monday, 1/14/08. On Saturday, 1/19/08 I called the Lease Support for the device at 1-888-689-7117 and spoke with Adam, because the device was signaling me and I didn't owe a payment, I thought until the 25th of January, verbally according to Danny, and was told to call back on Monday, 1/21/08, to get a code to stop the device from signaling me. On Monday, I was told by Tiffany in Customer Service to contact the dealership where the car was purchased. Upon speaking with Danny, he still stated he wasn't able to finalize the deal and for me to return the car to the dealership. I asked about my deposit, and he stated I would be charged a couple hundred for the use of the vehicle and the rest would be returned to me via check. I told him to 'pick-up the car' and I would await my check. I called back on Tuesday, 1/22/08 and spoke with Hank who stated that my deposit was used for maintenance and wear and tear on the vehicle while in my possession and that I wouldn't be receiving any of my money back. My job required me to have a vehicle in order to perform my job, which was the agreement I made with my job upon an offer of employment back in 10/2005; I started working for my job on 11/02/05 and had another vehicle in my possession which was paid for when accepting this job, which eventually broke down, and it would have cost more to fix than replace it; which I thought I did when purchasing the Cobalt from Majestic Motors.
