Keith, Send an online complaint to the postal inspection service at http://www.usps.com/postalinspectors/. Many times the service will actually mediate and get your money back for you. Most of the time they will place a cover on the fraudsters address to keep him from duping any more people. Also, just to see what happens, go to your local police department and ask them if they could make a courtesy call to the Florida police agency nearest that address. You'd be amazed at how successful this tactic can be. Or, you can contact the Florida officials yourself and make a formal complaint--bet they'd get your money back. Start with the Sarasota County Sheriff's department at (941) 861-5800. "Ritchie" committed interstate theft and mail fraud when he stole your money-thats what he did-he stole it. "Ritchie" will be sorry he ever tried to scam you. Good Luck,
