Hello, On Friday, July 17, 2015 the day before my birthday I purchased a 2016 Hyundai Elantra at Malcolm Cunningham Hyuandi 4355 Stone Mountain Hwy, Lilburn, Ga 30047 (770) 972.1222 Ext. 502. Originally I sought to purchase a way older and much more inexpensive vehicle to fit my budget but I was told by Sales Manager Max Rosado that I was not qualified, he told me I can get an easier approval if I purchase an 2016 Hyundai Elantra due to the rebates on the car- I was approved but the monthly payments of $485 was way over my budget. I told Max that the monthly payments of $485 was too extremely expensive for me considering I am a single parent mother with little income, then he pulled me out of the finance office alone and advised me if I accept the car deal and make consecutive on time payments for three months I can refinance.... I agreed with a down payment of $1,500. Three months later I attempted to refinance the car like he advised me but he said I was not eligible yet and must wait three more attemptedix months) to qualify for refinance but I began to default with my payments because I absolutely could not afford the high car payments of $485 as I originally told him. What's worse is my mother Angelie Halcond was also interested in buying a vehicle at the same time I purchased my vehicle, Max told her and I we needed to co-sign for one another- she co-signed for me first and then I suppose to have co-signed for her after he financed a vehicle for her. My mother attempted to trade in her current vehicle but Max told her it was not eligible for trade-in. My mother advised him she could not afford to pay two car notes if he's going to finance her for a new vehicle (she still owed money on her current vehicle), he told my mother to do a voluntary repossession with her current vehicle and he would have her financed with a new vehicle by July 27th before it appeared on her credit. Max never financed my mother a vehicle! We've contacted Max numerous times including in person about the vehicle he promised to finance for her but he always had an excuse- he LIED. We pursued to work things out with Max hoping he would finance my mother her vehicle but he said he was leaving Malcolm Cunningham Hyundai Dealership and will finance her a vehicle at his new job location Ford Dealership a few miles away (Five Star Ford Stone Mountain, 3800 US-78, Snellville, Ga 30039). After Max got settled with his new job, we tried to finance a vehicle for my mother at Ford but our credit was too farly damaged after he gave us both a credit check- we was not approved. We contacted and met with sales manager Ray Emerson at Malcom Cunningham Hyundai (same location I purchased my vehicle) and explained all the false pretenses we signed our car contract by prior sales manager Max but the present manager said it was out of his hands and referred us to speak with Derric Terrentine, director of operations. After I spoke with Derric he told me I could have refinanced my vehicle in one month time or less if I desired to, he apologized for Max's dishonesty but he said there's nothing he can do for my mother and I. Now my car has been repossessed as of Monday, August 1, 2016 for default payments that I was conned(deceived) into paying. Furthermore my disabled mother who's on disability social security is without a vehicle as well- along with two repossessions now on her credit. She has been without a vehicle for a little over a year now and constantly disapproved by most dealers due to the bad car inquiries on her credit. In addition I'm a single parent mother, Evangelist Minister who feeds the homeless and serves the community but I'm now without a vehicle. I have no transportation for work- living in a non public transportation area. My mother is a diabetic and is treated for pain management and I'm unable to take her to her Dr. appointments due to no transportation. Our lives has been severly disrupted and has caused us both emotional and mental traumatic distress due to these fraudulent acts done by carsales manager Max Rosado. He has done these same fraudulent acts to two of my friends as well and one of them is on disability social security- she reported him to her social worker but no results. I also have another friend who've witnessed Max make false statements at the time my mother attempted to finance a vehicle. We was all treated unfairly and Justice should be served. We hope and pray that you can please help us go public with this fraudulent act and to prevent this being done to others. Thank you so much for your time and attention with this critical matter, Nicole Halcond
