Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I was assured by the owner of this business that they worked with my type of car on a regular basis, and would have no problem doing the job I requested in one day. None of the information they gave me was accurate in any regard.

The job took 3 days, and despite the fact that the owner told me he knew how to work on my vehicle, and the fact that I left 2 separate, detailed notes on how to operate the vehicle, it was still damaged by him. When I approached him about helping cover the cost of the extra repairs, he told me basically to get lost, and if I had a problem with that, try to take him to court.

I had to have the police show up to take a report, and have the car towed and repaired at my own expense. And I still paid for the work he did. He insinuated that he would rather handle this matter in a physical way, than handle professionally as the owner of a business. He even went so far as to be rude to my Mother, who was present at the time.

The owner is nothing more than a common thug, with nothing more than a basic knowledge of cars. He did competent work on the vehicle, but his poor attitude, misleading estimates, and lack of professionalism makes it a total rip-off to even consider visiting his business.

This customer first went to elite autobody to have his car worked on to have batman emblems installed , along with special operating instructions on starting and shutting off the car. When the old eblems where removed to have the new ones installed the tech at eilte had scracted the paint on the front bumper and was willing to repair the damages for free. In the mean time the same thing that happened at my shop happened there to, the engine had flooded and would not restart. The owner of elite calls the customer to let him know the problem. The customer has the car towed from his shop and takin to the dealer to have the engine deflooded. After the car leaves the dealer he bring me the car to have the scratched repaired and have the batman emblems installed. O and again special operating instruction on starting and shutting off the engine, that where done. after all the repair where completed and tried moving the car from the paint booth, the car would not start. I tried the deflood the engine and installed new spark plugs and the car would still not start. I call the customer to let him know that i was having the same problem as elite had and he tells me not to worry he would get the car start. the customer shows up to pick his car up and he as well could not start the car. He tells me that he was not paying for the work i had done and was paying for the car to be towed and all repairs done. I did not let him take the car with out payment for the work that was completed and told him he whould have to call the police and handle this as a civil manner in court.

Come to find out I ran a car facts report on the car and it was declared a lemon in the state of FL and the dealer he had got the car from did not tell him that for the problems he was having.

I dont think that I fully understand what happened at this shop. I actually do know the shop in question and have seen some of his work and its very nice. It is a body shop. What was so special about your car that it needs special instructions on how to operate it. You said that he damaged your vehicle and then said he did competant work. Could you please go into a little better detail?
