Complaint Review: Marcus Family law Center -

  Good morning. This is possibly gross legal negligence with elements of RICO but I am definitely not the expert as it relates to definitions. The California Coalition of families brought a RICO against the Family law court system in San Diego, CA. This was supposed to be on calendar on May 5th 2016 at Pasadena, CA but has since been removed. Here are the facts of my case against my prior attorneys. 1. I was supposed to be at a Trial readiness hearing on March 30, 2016 but the attorney's office emailed and misinformed me saying it was on April 14, 2016. Since it was held on March 30, 2016 and I was out of the country, the judge reduced the trial dates to 2 days instead of 5 days and  2. I had to scramble to find a new attorney and went exparte to seek postponement but we were refused. I spent a lot of money and I lost custody of the children as we were not prepared for the trial and could not cross examine the custody evaluator who was biased or prepare for the trial. This was a complicated matter that required 5 days. 3. My attorney had allegedly subbed out on March 18, 2016 while I was out of the country. He then tried to represent me on March 30, 2016 even though he was not the attorney of record. Basically he played havoc with my case.   I HAVE ALL OF THIS IN WRITING. 4. My prior attorney also assured me on the phone that he will not sub out but ended up doing so. I also have emails that will show that they were trying to sub back in.  5.They also failed to inform me until a week later that the motion had gone through. My response to that email points to prior assurances given by Ethan Marcus.  6. They also failed to bring up possible BIAS of the evaluator that I had pointed out in writing several times. 7. The damages are extensive both financially and emotionally. RICO components along with Legal Malpractice: There were about 7-8 reported incidents of violence against my ex-wife. Yes I understand these are allegations from my part. I showed them video evidence of violence that were dismissed as they seem like PG-13 arguments. We went through a 730 evaluation also known as a child custody evaluation. We agreed to do the child custody evaluation through interns of a Dr Ribner. All the incidents of violence and the videos were reported to the Family Justice center but they wrote to me and said they were conflicted out as my ex-wife went there first. Going back to the evaluation as these are connected, I logged onto an alternate FB account that I use for playing chess/scrabble etc to keep my privacy intact. When I logged onto that FB account, the name of the evaluator popped up as a possible friend because of the email correspondence I have had with her. The name of the evaluator is Jennifer Weigert. I was shocked to see that her place of employment was the Family Justice Center and that she was a therapist there. My kids and ex-wife go for therapy there. My ex wife has alienated and brainwashed the children and I have videos where she has done those openly and I have recorded them.  In fact some of those videos are recorded by her. As soon as I saw that Jennifer Weigert was an employee of the Family Justice center, I panicked and knew at that very moment that I will be slammed at the evaluation and asked the attorneys to stop the evaluation and raise the conflict of interest. The Family Justice Center caters to battered women. PERIOD. So the report was biased and colored and definitely very very detrimental to me. Both the attorneys I had very informed of this bias and conflict and they did not raise it EVER. I was and have been a fantastic father to both my kids and protected my children from abuse from the mother. The mother on the other hand poisoned the children and they allegedly told things to the evaluator which I dont believe because I hardly saw them in the last 2 years because of the situation. The videos I have are extremely violent from an emotional and verbal aspect and there are elements of physical violence too. This entire collusion of the police, DA's office, Family Justice center and the Family services are very biased towards men and lot of it operates on perception of color and ethnicity as well as gender based abuse. I need help from a firm that sees the entire picture and I am sure there are several men suffering this fate.
