Complaint Review: Marketing True Residual Income - MTRI - Joe Straw - San Antonio Texas

MTRI is a rip off company who's president is the artist behind the scam.

Lets start off with a little about JOE STRAW(President):

Joe and I were good friends , we hung out on a weekly basis( part of his scamming is making you think your friends)then after he gained my trust In August of 2006 He asked me if I could lend him $4000 to help start MTRI. He said he would pay me back by February of 2007 so considering he was my friend I said ok. Others invested more than that. He put up a front to get people to invest by renting Limos, flying them in from Chicago, Dallas and other various cities ( he was able to do this by using the money that was loaned to him by me and invested by another gentlemen.) So he used that INVESTMENT money to lure the other unsuspecting victims into thinking it was a bigtime company ready to take off, basically to fake it, so they would give him more money so he could continue doing this to others) He took all the "investors" to look at nice spacious office buildings to lead them to believe it was going to be MTRI headquarters( another way of laying it on thick). Everyone , including me thought it was legit. Months later After showing us these high priced office spaces he doesnt have an office and is running MTRI out of his 2 bedroom apartment and the VICE PRESIDENT (AL SAUCEDA's TRAILER HOME) they used 2313 lockhill selma PMB# 194 San Antonio TX 78213 box as the company address during this time. He later ends up at the office on Gardendale suite #110( which is nothing compared to the spacious offices shown to us). I cant say for certain whether any of those "investors" got their money back, but all I know is I didnt.

February comes and he says he will Pay me in march 2007, march comes he makes more excuses. He then stops answering calls and ignores them (odd for someone who is suppose to be a good friend) This continues until I decide to sue him in July in court Precint 3 ( on Tesoro Dr. Judge Keith Baker) phone(210) 335-4700. I sued him and the Judge ruled in my favor based on the factual evidence against JOE STRAW. When we were dismissed JOE STRAW and Al Sauceda left the court room fuming angry and headed towards the elevators fast to try to avoid a civilized discussion on repaying me.

The judge awarded me my $4000 plus court fees, but it didnt end there:

I attempted to collect the money and JOE STRAW evaded me continuously, in August he finally said he would pay $500 a month until his debt was paid. He paid in Aug and Sept then the evasive tactics started again. After countless ignored calls, and false promises of payment, 5 months go by and still no money. March 17 2008 he tells me he will send remaining amount Western Union the next day and Text me the number so I can go collect it,I ask him if this is another one of his false promises he gets irritated and tells me not to lecture him because he is a "GROWN F**KING MAN"(if he was a "GROWN F**KING MAN" as he put it, why not take responsibility of his debt like one?). The 18th comes No texts, no calls. I try to call JOE STRAW several times and no answers ( straight to voicemail) Just another day at the scam office for JOE STRAW.

JOE STRAW tries to sign people up for his MTRI scam by painting a picture of making as much as you want, be your own boss, and working from home. They have phone seminars that last around 45MIN which is just intended to HYPE people up and make them want to join and get the people who already are "reps" motivated to take on the fruitless task of signing others up to do the same. Then when no one is making the kind of money he said they would he tries to blame them for being lazy, or not doing something correctly, rather than just come out and say he was lying. Its a game he plays meant to keep prospects and existing reps on the "hook" almost the way a casino would keep customers by saying "you can win your money back".

JOE STRAW CLAIMS TO MAKE $10,000 a month off MTRI(thats what he was claiming when I last talked to him, it may be more or less depending on who he is attempting to scam) . Now tell me: If this is the case wouldn't he just pay a measley $4000 (not even half of what he is claiming to make a month). Also wouldnt he live in a house rather than an apartment?

JOE STRAW is all talk but never comes through with what he says.

I know either AL SAUCEDA(Vice president) or JOE STRAW(president) will probably respond and deny part of what I said, or maybe be shameless enough to deny all of it? I would not have posted this had he paid me what the judge ordered him to , but I feel obligated to let others know about the SHAMELESS SCAM ARTIST JOE STRAW before they lose their money too.
