Hi, I read what happened. Every Massage Envy works differently. But, this is usually what happened in your situtation. So, you came in at 230or earlier. I am going to assume it was busy. Most therapists feel like they should sit around and wait until they are told their client are there. Management went hunting around for the therapist when they finally realized you were there it was probably was around 235 when the therapist was informed. By this point, the therapist took you to the back said hi, what is going on what would you like to work on etc. 5 minutes to change. Now, its 240. Did you look at the clock on your watch or the wall. They set the clocks differently so the therapists can easily tell what time it is. The lunch room is set ahead so the therapists can come out to the front on time and the room clocks are usually set back so they dont cut the client off time. The massages are SUPPOSED TO be 50 minutes. 5 mintues to talk to you and let you change before hand and 5 minutes after to do the same. If they did the massage until 330. The next client would not even be brought back until 340 and started at 345. Thats not fair to the client behind you. For what they pay us, we cant afford to take breaks between every client we already make on average MAYBE 150 and that is with good tips for the entire day
