Massage Envy THIS COMPANY RIPS YOU OFF!! DO NOT SIGN THERE SO CALL MEMBERSHIP Encino California
On August 30, 2008, My friends and I went to get a massage at the Encino location because we were celebrating my birthday. I was the 1st to finish. When I was checking out I was offered the Membership deal for $59/month, which sound great at the time. The lady was kind enough to walk me through the whole deal of this membership. She assured me that I have 30 days to cancel before my account becomes effective which then i will be stuck with the membership for 12 months. So I decided to sign up, since I have 30 days to think about it.
On September 23, 2008, I realized that I was better off without it since I know it would be hard to go get a massage... when I called to cancel.. I was told by the manager I couldnt cancel, which made me furious because I was told that i have 30 days to decide if i wanted to keep it. The manager assisted that she couldnt do much for me since i signed the contract which I believe is BOGUS! She advised me tha I would have to wait till the worker who signed me up comes to work so that she can discuss it with her, but at this point I cannot cancel my membership.
Do NOT trust these people. Additionally there service sucks!!! My friend who decided to get a facial... had an allergic reaction to the chemicals... beware CONSUMERS
