I used Match.com service for about 6 month. I decided not to subscribe anymore and decided to cancel my subscription myself by following the steps on their website.
Little did I know, the steps I followed did not go through properly and did not produce a confirmation number.
I called customer service and they say they cannot issue me a full refund because I used the service and that the system at Match.com is set up so that it does not issue any refund at all.
Not only that, one of their staff, Luis, employee number 1146, gave me an ultimatum of either receiving a prorated refund or no refund at all. How rude is that?
Another Employee I spoke to, Enrique, he is without employee ID currently, gave me the same treatment and the same excuse about the full refund. I ask him if they ever received any complaints, and his answer was, no, not at all.
