Matchmaker of Michigan Did NOT provide personal professional matchmaking service for the $2,000 I paid. Grand Rapids Michigan
I was naive enough to believe Matchmaker's sales pitch. Since signing up with a $2,000 fee, I can honestly say there has not been 1 match that would match my background and current lifestyle. I was a professional for 36 years.
One example, I specifically requested no smokers, I was matched with 2-3 smokers. I had one match who was leaving to live in Florida the next week, couldn't have much of a relationship there. The majorityof my matches had very poor English and some weren't even clean shaven. One match was very rude.
They say they run background checks, but I doubt it. One guy was signed up for every dating site online, that was a little creepy. I realized within 5 minutes that he was very controlling.
Between Xmas and June I was never sent a match, so I had to call them. They had some excuse, matched me up with someone, and, again, I was very disappointed.
I agree, this service is a complete ripoff. I think they put names in a hat and take turns matching.
