I forgot to cancel my trial membership and was late by 2 days and I had already been billed. I called the toll-free number and the rep I spoke to could not have been more helpful. She explained the billing info that I saw upon purchasing about the need to cancel before the trial was up to prevent the renewal. They also have 4 different ways that a member can cancel as well! There really was no excuse for my late cancellation other than to say that it was my own fault. So even though I was cancelling late, they still allowed me to apply for a full refund using the refund policy on their website! You just need to be within 3 days of your billing date to do it. I had my money back within 2 weeks!
It really sounds to me like you are just mad at yourself for not cancelling in time. Oh, and you can also ask for your password by clicking a handy link on the log-in page. I saw that they have email support too, so I am sure you can email them directly with any questions too. I don't know, but I found this site's support to be top notch and I might even re-join again in the spring.
