Matthew Obermeier Did not do any work on divorce case san antonio texas
Had to repeat what I wanted and information on my case at each meeting.
Information was still entered incorrectly.
"Forgot" to send me a copy of the papers he sent my spouse.
Did not give adequate notice to either of us about courtdates, knowing we have small children and only a part-time sitter.
After an email and meeting to discuss expectations moving forward, he once again failed to provide information about the case--I found out from my spouse yet again.
Did not notify that the temporary orders were not in place. I had to contact him to find out what was going on.
Said he'd call...waiting a week later.

I'm sorry to hear about your ordeal with Matthew Obermeier. He has one legal malpractice and another one pending. I'm going to file a greivence with the Texas State Bar, in Austin. Not that I trust them either. However, if they get enough complaints about Matthew Obermeier, maybe he'll get fined and or disbarred. Check online what they expect, their laws and policies for disbarment. After reading the legal malpractic lawsuit filed, he should be disbarred, even for what he did to me, you and the other person who responded to my post. Matt also practices Deceptive Trade Practices, by taking 1 stars off and replacing them with 4 - 5, five star reviews. I heard about a number of cases where he absolutely had no idea what he was doing, much less knowing the law, and ruined the cases. People have no idea how this hurts the person who hired him, its hurts the system as well. In my opinion, he is very unstable. Good luck to you.
