this is why I shop Raymour & Flannigan all the way.... no nonsense and I get what I want... sure I pay a heck of a lot more but the people working for the company are aces. The truck drivers are awful though... I wish that companies would hire their own drivers... I love the furniture at R&F but I HATE HATE HATE the drivers that came to my house. They smelled of smoke, swore, and were loud and obnoxious. I offered them sodas and the one that thankfully wasn't driving told me he had beer in the truck. Both chuckled so maybe (hopefully) they were joking Still...as for quality and actual customer service when dealing with company reps...Raymour & Flannigan is the place I go.

When we went to their store in Bellevue and pointed out that the mattress that they sold to one of our friends is an old and used one, we were shocked to listen to the rude response to my wife from the salesman that said "READ MY LIPS, you can go and shop around in nearby SleepCountry or Macy's and if you find a better deal with them you should go and buy the mattress from them." Another salesman in the store asked us to lie down on the bed and cracked a rude joke that was supposedly funny for him, saying "If you fall asleep then I will kick you out of the store". We walked out convinced that we should NEVER buy the mattress from the store even if it means that we will end up spending a few hundred bucks more in a nearby store on the same mattresses they offer.

As you can see, a former employee of Mattress Depot went to work for Kings Mattress and validates that Mattress Depot is the best place to work and purchase a NEW mattress set. Damien has confirmed that the owner of Kings Mattress requested that employees go to this website and right false inaccurate reviews to try and tarnish the image of the company.

I don't think it is appropriate for a representative of "Mattress Depot" to assume or state that a complaint was not genuine or even state it may have come from their competition, "Kings Mattress Outlet". I'm sure Mattress Depot has many competitors and to name one is not professional. While they may disagree with the complaint, it is not right to accuse a competitor by name of creating a complaint, because they couldn't know that as a fact. Additionally, the post by "Mattress Depot" admits to selling used and seconds bedding. Therefore the complaint seems to be valid, no matter who posted it.

I had worked for mattress depot for about 20 months as their delivery driver, from the time i worked there to the time i resigned. I have seen everything on how this company operates. Sure they do offer factory seconds and new mattresses. In my opinion offering the factory seconds gives families that can't really afford a lot of money spending it on a brand new one a chance to own a mattress that they choose, they are shown all the flaws if any about the mattress before they buy it. When we got soiled mattresses we discarded them to be recycled, thats correct recycled not just dumped into a land fill like other companies. I quit to help out my mom's business, but if ever given the chance to work for David Smith of mattress depot I would definitely do it again. They have a great work environment, and great products that sell. Dave started with nothing in this business and now is number 5 on fastest growing companies and from what i recently heard they just opened a new store in Olympia. i applaud them and wish very the best, and this is the truth anything else is just a lie.

We sell both Factory Seconds from Sealy and BRAND NEW FULLY WARRANTY sets from Englander, Spring Air, and Lady Americana. Only about 10% of our stock are factory seconds. Therefore, if you are not interested in purchasing a factory second by Sealy or Stearns & Foster (often they are not used but some are warranty returns and have been slightly used) you simple should look at the NEW Warranty sets only. Clearly this report was written by a competitor trying to disgrace our company (probably Kings Mattress Outlet). MATTRESS depot USA is the 5th fastest growing company in the State! We sold over 15,000 mattress sets in 2006 and will sell 30,000 in 2007 and we have less than a 1% unsatisfied customer rate which is very high for retail. Our REPEAT and REFFERAL clients are 35% of our overall sales. This would NEVER be the case if MATTRESS depot USA decieved its customers.
