A representative from Maverck Seminars Named Nicholas Fletcher came in to my office and put on a presentation promoting a Tom Hopkins Seminar and when the date of the Seminar came around I found out that Maverick Seminars had cancelled the Seminar and I also found out that they do not do business with Tom Hopkins due to having a substantial outstanding balance owed. I have requested a refund and as of this date Maverick Seminars has refused to refund my money.

Maverick Seminars has deceived me into signing up for a Tom Hopkins Seminar that they had no intention of fulfilling and I hope more people come forward to expose this company for their deception and business practices.

My feelings on Maverick Seminars are very much recorded online, I have been threatened by Maverick Seminars with lawsuits if I continue posting comments online and such, though I have told them to go ahead and file a suit I have yet to see any papers, more scare tactics from an organization that has gone belly up. My name is Nicholas and I am the rep that went into 90% of the offices in San Diego promoting the Tom Hopkins event, therefore many of you believe that I am the one you should hold responsible. I promoted the event in good faith, this was the fourth program for Tom Hopkins that I had promoted for Maverick Seminars and the other three went off without a hitch. I truly believed that Danniel Williams would have done the same thing in San Diego and that is "give you what you pay for" Mr. Williams "fired me" on Febuary 29, 2008, nearly a month before the seminar date, which at that time I still believed was happening. Unfortunatly the only recourse you have to try to recoup your money is to file in small claims court and even that is not a guarentee. I know many clients fought and fought with their credit card companies and came out ahead. If you paid by check, well you may want to write it off or may I suggest find another A rated speaker in San Diego, explain what happened and I would say with a large degree of confidence that they will allow you to see their trainer for free, at least get something out of it. I apologize to all of my former clients. This is not the way I intended for things to happen.
