Mayfield Van Line Stole all my personal belongings Canoga Park California
The owner of this company keeps ripping off consumers and is getting away with it. His name is Amit Bembaron, he also goes by the name of Mike. He opens companies up and when the DOT closes him down he opens up another company with a different name. Before being Mayfield they were called Fast Relocation Moving and Storage.
On March 8, 2008 I hired this company to move my all my possesions from Santa Monica, CA to Phoenix, AZ. They showed up 7 hrs. late. They were supposed to pack and they didn't have enough boxes. The truck didn't show up until 9 PM that evening and they still had not packed everything. The next day I received a call from the company by a person called Jessica Lopez to tell me that the move was now going to cost me double what they had quoted because when they weighed the truck it was double the amount they quoted.
They were also supposed to store my move until I notify them. I was having my home in Phoenix remodeled. When I called to inform them that I was ready to for them to bring my move, they had closed the company and taken all my belongings.
I have since filed a complaint with the police.
