Maytag products last oh! about 1year 4 months ripoff Palm Bay Florida
MAYTAG Dishwasher Quiet Series 100 model MDBTT59AWW is a very inferior product. After one year 4 months of use on a twice a week basis the washer motor stopped working. The part is warrantied all right for 5 years but the labor is not! If you can find a certified Maytag appliance center to come out and fix it with out you having to take a full day off of work, it will cost you about $145.00 in labor plus about two weeks down time
while the part is being ordered. Maytag is really not understanding of this great inconvenience and believe that they do have a superior product.
I say wrong!! When you spend $340.00 maybe a bit more on a product you would expect it to last at least 5 years, NOT ANY MORE! Product life is now a little over one year.
I brought this Maytag problem up for conversation at work, I was told my mistake was purchasing a Maytag product, I also had an appliance repair person tell
( A Little to Late! ) me Maytag is a bad purchase for the money. So I want to warn all of you reading this report THINK TWICE before you get stuck with a 1 year maytag product. I now have invested $390.00 in a worthless product i am now using as a dish rack..
If you are a maytag mfg employee with some corp power look me up and we will talk. The serial# 23506566EN. This should give enough information to look me up. I doubt if I hear from anyone, after all I am just one consumer with very little influence. By the way I am
emailing 600 copies of this out.
Please copy and send out to all your email buddies, maybe companies will start making better products if we do something about it.
Now if you excuse me I have to go to Home Depot and buy a Whirlpool.

My whirlpool washer lasted 2 years and 3 months. We could not get anyone to come out to even look at it. Made several appointments and no one shows up. SO thought Maytag would be better. WHAT a JOKE that was.

Not sure if this company is getting any better or whether Whirlpool will stand behind Maytag products. So, I'd be wary of buying a Whirlpool.
