I joined an adult dating site and was willing accepted and expected to pay a one time bill of $29.95. They have basically designed their website like a roach motel. It allows you to create a profile and set up a payment to them, but they DO NOT give you the option of canceling your membership. I know because I tried to several times, and through a variety of ways.

The closest thing the website could offer me was to "inactivate" the account. So I did. But in the meantime they would keep charging me $29.95, even though my account was never used or active. The Digi-Group recalled to me the 4 times that I had logged into their site. Making it appear like I was using their service still which I was not doing (What they do is send you an e-mail reminding you that you haven't logged in).

So I would log in with one goal in mind, TERMINATING this account. But to no avail. Now I am pretty capable of navigating websites and have canceled plenty of of memberships with other websites, but they will NOT let you do it through their website. And they provide no number to contact them, and no resources that will help you cease the payment. They go out of their way to make sure they can keep taking your money.

It wasn't until I called my BANK that I was given a phone number to resolve this issue. My bank, which has NO affiliation with this company, was the only way I was able to get a phone number to stop this nightmare, and because they bill under the name of MC DIGI-GROUP, it was never quite apparent that I was still paying for a service that I had all but forgotten about.

I didn't call this company because I was trying to cancel a membership, I called them because I had no clue as to who they were, and what I supposedly buying for $29.95.

This company has taken great measures to appear legit, but they have taken even greater measures to create a system that basically allows them to steal from you for an extended period of time before you can put a stop to it. I was on the phone with them for over an hour, and asked them directly for an address, and was told that they WOULD NOT give me that info. The HornyMatches.com website says they are based out of Belgium, but the 800# I called was definitely somewhere in the U.S. I can only hope that this 10 month ordeal is finally over.

I called the 800 number. Your post inspired me to wait on hold 6 minutes, then again for 15 minutes to mess with the guy who answered who feed me all sorts of bull crap. I wasn't slander. I simply asked him lots of questions that would expose his fraudulent activity. Sounded like he was somewhere in between 18 and 23 paying attention to his vocal mannerisms/patterns and the sound of his voice. Maybe he runs the thing with friends, maybe he's hired and has no idea (doubtfully since he managed to take very long pauses accompanied by "uhhhs" usually trying to think of a bull answer). IE I asked him about his supervisors and if they were there. He responded fairly slowly to tell me he was the only one there (already not a bright crayon in the box) but it wasn't enough to really tell me anything so I followed up by asking him when I would be able to reach his supervisor. Another "lets think hard about the right answer because I'm not very smart" pause....He said they wouldn't be in until 9am (Which would just happen to be Sunday morning...again not a bright crayon). If that wasn't enough I went along with it and he told me he had "many and lots of supervisors" after which I asked him the name of one so I'd know who I should ask for when I call in the morning. This was followed by his longest, "uhhhh" mixed with a silent pause, yet to which he simply came up with "I don't know, I have lots of supervisors" again I asked "well surely you know one name out of 'lots' of supervisors." So you get the idea. I played with him like this for quite sometime. He wasn't a very good lier. In fact when I called back (hence the 15 minutes on hold this time) I called him out on all his lies in a simple one-sentenced ways to which he responded very unconvincingly "Actually, I know for a FACT I didn't lie to you". Well I hope you do the same...it entertained me for at least a half hour of my night. Enjoy. -the missing supervisors?
