I signed up for MCI Worldcom Wireless, but after months I still hadn't received a bill, so I called them to advise them. It took weeks of calling to get through, and when I finally did, I was told they were having problems w their billing system, but I would get one soon.

I was also told I wouldn't have any late charges, or have to pay for months of service at a time, since it was their mistake. My first bill came, all it had was 1 page showing a total due; no call activity explanations, nothing. Then, about 2 months later, I get another bill, which looked incorrect.

I didn't want to send them any money till I could verify the bill with them, I called for weeks and couldn't get through; all you get is a message saying 'we have a high volume of calls, please try back later', then it hangs up on you. (mind you they don't even put a contact # on the bills, you have to call around to try to find their #). Eventually my phone was shut off, and I still couldn't get through to them. After weeks of trying, I got through, verified the bill, and gave a payment on the phone to have my phone turned back on. I was told it would take 24-48 hrs. That was about a month ago, and my phone is still disconnected. I call daily and still can't get through. Most recently I received a bill for all the past months combined, saying it is due immediately.

Beware of this company - its next to impossible to get in touch w someone when you have an issue, their billing is sent when they feel like it, and is incorrect (my bill amount is over $500 even though I have free nights + weekends, and 250 free anytime minutes a month), and as of now, my phone is still disconnected.
