i recieved my phone over the internet. it came with a contract to sign and send back with a copy of my license. i actually never sent any info back to them.

around a month and a half later i recieved a bill for a service i never activated. thats how i realized that the phone was active i tried to explain this to customer service , as the bills started to come along. then 4 days after i realized the phone was active the screen went blank.

for 45 minutes each, time i waited to talk to someone to resolve this issue, but it became overbearing. after a few more failed attempts to resolve this issue i gave up.

the balance of 264 went to collections and was cut in half, which was 3 months ago. today which is july 22nd of 2002 i recieved a bill for 503.18 with a termination fee and past money .

how can they charge a termination fee when there was no contract and they are still charging a service charge when the plan "or non existant plan" has been cancelled and already gone to collections.
