I have had the 9300 Model Series Delux Cart electric grill for roughly 4 years now without any problems. As soon as the Heating Element died for an unknown reason about 4 months ago, I purchased a new one from the company and installed it. It seemed to have worked as new, but after less than 4 months of light usage, the heating element died again. After connecting with Meco's customer service group, they said I would need to purchase a brand new replacement because their warranty only runs for 90 days. I personally think that 90 days on any brand new electronic item is just way too low. This very short timeframe is typically offered for refurbished or used goods only and not on new items, especially that this is the most important piece of the grill and apparently most prevelant to breaking. This item alone costs 1/2 the price of a brand new grill so if I was to purchase another replacement, that would be like paying the cost of a new grill altogether. I reached out to the company's support group but they were not interested in keeping my business by offering some sort of discount as good faith.
I would not suggest buying their electronic grills unless you are looking to pay 2-3 times the cost of the grill to fix it over its lifetime.
