In the fall of 2007 my son found a company selling Eleanor Mustangs on ebay. Curious and excited I made contact with Edwin Verdung Memory Lane Classics 1-218-929-3692 615 6th St. Chisholm, Mn. 55719 and asked him if he did restorations on newer Mustangs as my son had just purchased a 1971 Mach One and I was looking for a restorer that could put in new floor pans that I had purchased on ebay myself. He said that his company could do the complete restoration and asked me to send him photo's of the car, which I did. He saw the pictures and said he could give me a price once he saw the car and I said come on down and see it. Edwin came to my home and crawled under the car, under the hood, under the trunk, door jams and we talked about what should be done to make this car a family heirloom. My son paid for the car out of his own money and we had already spent a ton of money on every part the internet could offer and built a dyned 521 stroker motor, a brand new duke McKee ford top loader transmission and a Strange Engineering 4:57 Detroit locker disc brake read end. Countless phone calls and 2 1/2 years of empty promises and our car is not anywhere close to being done. This was his high school dream project car and last wednsday...he graduated. Last thursday Scott Verdun, Edwin Verdun and Barbara Verdun were being investigated by the Chisholm Police. A few months ago they were sued by a person who had given them 25,000 and they gave them the 25,000 back and it was settled. How many others are out there waiting for their cars to be done ? Call me anytime. I'll give you more info you should know. (((Redaced)))
