Mepco - National Auto Warranty Services - Ultimate Warranty Corp Ripped off by Mepco/National Auto Warranty/Ultimate Warranty Corp! Rocky River Ohio , Saint Louis Missouri
My husband and I have been paying $100 per month for "Extended Warranty". Our car just came in need of major repair--$2400 worth. When the repair shop called Mepco, he couldn't get through and kept bouncing through phone system. He sent 6 emails, with no return from Mepco. My husband got through to Mepco, who claimed "the phone system was down" the previous day, and referred him to the National Auto Warranty Co. When he called there, a message said "they are no longer taking calls.
We have been paying for 2 years, $2400 total. WE HAVE BEEN SCAMMED!!! We are furious that Mepco has been taking our money for two years. We also read on RipOff that Mepco went "belly up" in Dec of '07. SO WHY DIDN'T MEPCO CONTACT US? WHY DID THEY CONTINUE TO TAKE OUR MONEY FOR OVER A YEAR?
We are not sure how to proceed; we are going to report them and try to file a class action suit. If anyone knows anything about this, please let us know.
