I received an unsolicited email with a fraudulent charge placed on an unknown credit card. My attempt to contact the CEO of the parent company was unsuccessful. I was put on hold for over an hour and when the phone was finally answered was not allowed to speak with the CEO Payam Zamani. I was than transferred to a non-existent customer service representative with a voice mail only.

I have reported this matter to the FTC and government spam Internet address.

It is obvious that this is a scam!

We ask that you provide evidence of the referenced events, as there is simply no way that the content in your report can be true. If you have had some other kind of frustrating experience with MerchantCircle then please provide us with details so that we can rectify the situation --- but there is no doubt that the content of this report is false.

If evidence of a frustrating experience is provided, we will do everything we can to resolve your concerns so that this report can be removed from the internet. If evidence is not provided then we respectfully ask that "ripoffreport" please permanently remove this false report from the internet.

The content in this report is certainly false for the following reasons:
1) We never charge someone unless they have agreed to the charge, and agreed to our terms of service as clearly outlined on our site: http://merchantcircle.desk.com/customer/portal/articles/269054
2) As a part of the terms of service agreement, we always send email notifications to paying customers. As such, any email sent to notify of billing activity was not unsolicited.
3) All credit card information in our database is entered directly from our users, AFTER they have agreed to our terms of service, and agreed to incur a charge for service.
4) Our phone system is very efficient, and all callers receive prompt attention. This can be verified simply be calling our office and observing the excellent phone service. If someone is put on hold or transferred to voicemail, we are sure to respond to resolve any issues within 1-2 business days.
5) If we are a scam then why have we been accredited with the BBB for years?
6) Even the basic information of this report is incorrect, as we are not located in the city provided, or even in the same state.

All aspects of this report are highly suspect. We ask that tangible evidence be provided so that we can resolve the issue and this report be removed. If evidence is not provided, we ask that this report be removed immediately as it is unfair to slander the reputation of MerchantCircle.com and our CEO without any grounds.

If this slanderous, untrue report is not removed from the internet promptly we will pursue action, as our reputation is being attacked without grounds.

We expect a prompt resolution.
