Unlicensed scam run by Modesto Esterlin Martinez *** to file a complaint, contact Florida State Attorney General’s Office @ 850-414-3990 or toll free 866-966-7226. Martinez operates as an unlicensed real estate agent, takes advance fees from room seekers. Stay away from his fake office located at Lincoln Road & Washington Avenue in Miami Beach, Florida.
Martinez operates the same scam at 421 Seventh Avenue, in Midtown, Manhattan 10001. In New York City, Martinez uses numerous website addresses to get over. When a website address becomes a known scam, Martinez changes the website name so the scam continues under another clean website address. Here’s a partial list of the website names: nycbigrooms.com a/k/a greatrooms.org; largerooms.org; nycheaprent.com; nycbigrooms.com; nycityrooms.com; nycmovetoday.com; nycrentnow.com; nycweeklyrooms.com; roomsinbrooklyn.com; roomsinharlem.com.
If you were scammed by this CON ARTIST, do this: Go back to his Lincoln Road & Washington Avenue, Miami Beach office, once inside the building, call 911, tell operator you want COPS at that location so you can file a Scheme To Defraud report. While COPS are there, they will get you your money back.

Our fair housing testing of nycityrooms.com revealed the following, nycityrooms.com is not a registered business with the State of New York. nycityrooms.com is not an incorporated business in New YorkState. nycityrooms.com is an illegal business which is operating as an unlicensed apartment sharing agent in violation of Article 12-C of the New York State Real Property Law. nycityrooms.com employees discriminate against B-l-a-c-k-s, P-u-e-r-t-o R-i-c-a-n-s, H-o-m-o-s-e-x-u-a-l-s, the D-i-s-a-b-l-e-d, etc. Modesto Esterlin Martinez collects an ADVANCE FEE, doesn’t find housing as promised, simply refers the victim to another unlicensed SCAM that collects another ADVANCE FEE, then does not refund the money he scammed from the victim in violation of New YorkState law.
