I happened across a complaint by Mitchell on this site and was shocked and dismayed by the disparaging and, by my own experience, inaccurate and possibly libelous claims and comments he made. I feel strongly about this having had many years of experience and many dealings with Mr. MacLellan.
I submit that Mitchell may possibly harbor misplaced ill will toward Mr. MacLellan and may likely have exhibited those traits, including "The reason he did this is because he was very aware of allegations made by my ex and her father, that i was violent." I personally do not know, nor am I attesting to his acknowledgement of his reputation as stated by his ex and her father, but rather quoting some text within the purported, and likely fallacious claim by Mitchell.
My suggestion, based on the facts as I know them, would be to ferret out the truth of this matter by calling on Mitchell to produce any evidence he might have to substantiate his claims and demonstrate that he is not projecting.
Mr. MacLellan is highly regarded in the business community, a true professional: personable, amicable, experienced, talented and beyond reproach.
I have known Mr. MacLellan for 40 years and have been delighted with his work. I have lived in Bend, Oregon for the last 20 years of that, and still seek Mr. MacLellan's council as needed and within the limits as prescribed by law.
Respectfully submitted in the spirit of clarification, fairness and accuracy.

Mitchell, I would immediately file a Bar Association complaint. This is a major ethical violation that could get him disbarred. Also, taking money under false pretenses is a crime, which you can prosecute. And for future reference, most attorneys prepare paperwork that is signed by both parties when you place a retainer. It is a statement of understanding and creates the attorney/client relationship. Good luck

I would not have further communications with this attorney, rather, I would not walk but instead RUN to calbar.org and file a complaint against this guy. If he truly did nothing on your behalf, you should be entitled to your retainer. The Bar Association will investigate your claims, they don't want bad attorneys out there anymore than Joe Public does!!! Best of luck to you!

Get this *&*&* off this site, or I am going to sue you. Michael, I gave you more than 10 months to address my concerns and complaints with you and your office. You chose to completely ignore me, and are now steamed because I am actually fighting for my rights as a consumer?!?! Well Michael, Here is another chance for you...provide in a rebuttal a copy of said document, stamped by the clerk, and I will be more than pleased to revoke my claims against you. How about the money you wrongly charged me from my retainer. How about I sue you for the damage to my case, caused by you dropping me with zero notice, the moment I called you to the carpet on aforementioned issues, making false claims that I hung up on your secretary. I was driving down highway 152, near San Louis reorvoir, and lost my signal...shame on me. When I got to Dos Palos area, I telephoned again, to be told by your wife, that you were no longer representing me, but you are angry with me?!?! Can you address any of these issues Michael? Mitchell
