The Rise & Fall Of Ben Smith Who?
Anyone was has followed the relationship between Ben Smith and Mike Roberts Rexxfield over the last 10 years or so, have come away sickened. If you are new to the saga at first it is easy to like Bennie I guess, as he appeared to be a 'straight' homegrown Catholic boy who had ethics and values. People that have actually talked to him howl with laughter at this statement, apparently it is painfully obvious that he isn’t.
Ben Smith, the so-called Tea Party straight shooter, chief law enforcement officer, is nothing more than the misanthropic side of Mr. Jekyll, Benjamin John Smith – being the better half.
Not only did he and Mike Roberts know each other for years but Ben deleted Mike's conviction for child abuse and advised how to stay a deadbeat Dad. They decided to take their game a little further by getting Ben elected Prosecuting Attorney and then he and Mike applied for business financing together - when that failed, Ben charged Mike's ex-wife with murder.
I am not going to get into the whole argument here.
Roberts (Rexxfield) has quite a few websites and blogs and appear to be owned by Sons Limited, which was founded by the Roberts third wife names Heidi a search of the Way Back Machine gives us a glimpse of the old site, probably written by Roberts.
The newest posting claims, of course technical massive jargon about hard drive the FBI gave to Roberts which 'vindicated' him when he stalked his ex-wife through the courts. I don’t have enough time or knowledge of the subject to go through it and see if it is accurate or not. On the face of it, it looks highly technical and could blind someone into thinking the information contained therein was correct. I hate to think that it isn’t, but knowing what I know about Mike Roberts now, and the date of that article, he’s already out and about strutting his stuff.

In 2002 informant Greg Barnett admitted driving to early Iowa and selling 1/2 of meth to Michael Roberts at his home in Early, Iowa.
So what else has Ben Smith lied about?
Here we are getting to the dangerous part – Smith knew that in 2002 to sources gave statement claiming Mike Roberts was in debt to his drug dealers and that they were coming to collect or get street level justice the night of the attack. Like any crack head facing trouble Roberts his and left his wife and 10, 3 and 1 year-old to face the music. Such an advocate Michael Roberts, when called out on his participation and cover up, turned around and snitched on Ben Smith.
