Complaint Review: Micheal E Crowe - powder springs Georgia

In the beginning of May My husband & i were looking to find a house to live in before we locate to Georgia so when we did find this email on Craigslist we contacted it.. everything sounds the same in every detail of the home. We did come down and conducted our own visual thoughts as to a house that we were going to rent.  We than decided to rent it. being were stil in kentucky we used a 3rd party to help with the transfer of monies to be given to the landlord. MICHEAL E CROWE  he than was only interested in the money,he also mentioned that he would put his mail on hold at the post office, according to the postal people i had to contact him about releasing our mail from hold. due to it was a federal crime for him to tamper with our mail. i than spoke to him as he said when he would get to the post office he would get it released we had to go every other day to check our mail, i was told that there was only so much that they can help us with. on one occasion he made a mail delivery that was dated to be sent in the beginning of july yet i didnt recieve it til almost the time we were to move out, i know that he has more of our mail, mail that i have been waiting for since our last address was all forwarded to the home address and not one as been delievered, & post master said NONE of our mail should be on hold, that they will notify a carrier that new tenants live there but unfortunatly he than went and made our box to the house vacant so no mail will be delivered & all mail to be STOP. not even 3 days after recieving the money he wanted to know when we are available to move in cause he had gotten serve of a ciatation for a pool that is behind the house on  4830 wasilla way powder springs ga 30127, again he add that if we cleaned out the pool before the months rent was due that he would reduce the rent by 200. after carefully removing things out of the pool & rent not due he calls to say he needs the rent money cause he was leaving out of state. he than set that the pool wasnt clean & needed a FULL months rent. Still not completely done due to the fact that it was just to much strain on the people cleaning it. he was very aggravated to say he needed something in the attic in the house which is a small cubby in the roof but instead made a full walk through while my niece was a sleep awakening her by the big scare of a unknown man in the room & wanting to go into every room of the house. understandable he is the landlord but coming on unexpected dates and than contract saying 24 hour notice but more like 10 min notice to say he was down the street to come over. On July 3rd he than contacted my husband about when we were moving out due to the fact that he wanted now 1000.00 of rent to be paid by August 17th WE than got told on numerous calls to the house that he had a uncle that was a judge and wanted us out cause he had him sign a eviction letter in all due respect no POLICE ever served us. on july 13 we again conducted another conversation about moving out by Sunday the 15th he than gave me his new number cause his fone apparently was broken due to water damage,Mike than claimed he was going to return part of our deposit made to him that we have in writing from him, i called all day sunday for the walk thru (exit review of the property) and still no answer MONDAY comes and he calls the house phone to say HE CALLED US ALL DAY SUNDAY but no number recieved of the time he claims never showed on our phones caller ID.  upon cleaning and taking the last of our stuff out the house 2 cars pull up & ask if we were the landlord of the home, up front we tell her no we were the previous tenants, puzzled they said they just say the house on craigslist, up for rent. only this time he has raised the rent and the situation with the pool is still the same, same photo of the home & yet he forgot to mention that the house had fleas, bugs,broken windows, holes on the door & a unlivable condition. the house had a backed up sewer that some how he wanted us to drain by US paying for a plumber and septic to come out, He only had concerns of 7dust when i told him that i would take my kids out to a ER to be exaimined for bites all over there legs from flea's SCAR for life the kids are still suffering the consequences for a unmanagable landlord and rip off, no reguards to kids he now refuses to give us our DEPOSIT cause he assumes we broke his windows, calling my husbands place of employment trying to get him fired and bothering him on her personal phone saying HE WANTS US TO COME DOWN AND CLEAN THE BATHROOM. AND TAKE THE TRASH OUT. AND FIX A WINDOW WE had nothing to do with.  he is just a scam artist and i will call epa and renters association to review this site and his home for it should be condem, im now paying out of pocket of what money i have left to stay in a motel/hotel so in that way my kids could have a safe enviroment to live in. the place was horrible and although it was a quick rent My husband only wanted us to have somewhere to go when we relocated down to Georgia and because this guy wont pay us im letting it be known that NO ONE SHOULD RENT FROM HIM HE WILL ONLY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU..
