To update my situation, Shaun didn't waste any time picking up the old transmission (probably because he was worried when I told him that the data plate had been removed and I couldn't get any numbers off it, which is highly illegal Shaun). Within days of filing this original report, the wrong transmission that they sent out was picked up. Since then I have been waiting for my new one. After calling Shaun many times but finally reaching him on Tuesday, September 27th, he told me, I sent it to the lab to have it tested and to have the right wiring plugs put in, I'll send it out Friday. Little does Shaun know the right plugs can't just be put into the wrong transmission and why? Because it is the WRONG transmission Shaun. Today is Friday so I called Shaun to find out if my transmission was sent out today and of course it wasn't. What I did get was Shaun on the phone yelling about how I stabbed him in the back by reporting his pathetic company and my transmission would be sent out Monday or Tuesday. Then after a couple of hang ups from Shaun and even more no answers, he decided to pick up. I told Shaun I had had enough and wanted the money back and sent out today. He said he wouldn't talk to me anymore because it was not my check that paid for it, it was my girlfriends. I immediately had my girlfriend Kim call to request a refund and as soon as Shaun picked up the phone, he started swearing at her and telling her that I was an idiot and gave him the wrong information from the car (vin number) and he would send the money back minus 25%. He had never talked to her before and he immediately started swearing and yelling at her. She continued to ask politely if he would please stop yelling at her and of course Shaun just hung up. When Kim was finally able to get through to Shaun, she told him that she was looking at the paperwork and it was the right Vin number, Shaun made up another story and said that well Brian didn't send the manufacturing date of the car. That by the way was never requested but nevertheless, Kim told him that he could find that out by looking up the VIN number. Shaun then hung up on her like he usually does. I am a mechanic so I know what the VIN number shows. Just to add to my stack of paperwork against Shaun and Mid City I called a local Chrysler/jeep/eagle dealer in town and asked the service department if they could find the manufacturing date of the car by entering the VIN number into their computer. I only had to give them the last nine digits and that had everything possible on the car including the manufacturing date. Now we don't have our money back, we don't have a transmission, Kim doesn't have a car, and I am still paying for a garage rental that I don't have any money to cover. Even better, Shaun won't answer the phone so we have no idea whether Shaun will try and send us another junk transmission or whether he'll be a man, take some responsibility and send us our money. . I have filed reports with the BBB, The Federal Trade Commission (www.ftc.gov or 877-382-4357), The Division of Trade and Consumer Protection Agency (414-266-1231) and the Wisconsin Attorney General's office. Someone please let me know what else I need to do to get our money back and put these frauds out of business so that this doesn't keep happening to people! I will do whatever it takes and Shaun, consider yourself lucky that this Marine doesn't live in Wisconsin, although it would be worth the trip!

Sorry to hear about that Brian, I do hope you get this worked out, but a little hope for ya....the Wisconsin Attorney Generals office has an ongoing investigation into these bastards and should be wrapping up by the end of the year hopefully. They will end up paying in the end. Rip offs like this always get there due justice eventually. And P.S. : If one of the employees of this company responds to this...don't even take the time to read it...he'll probably end up in jail or on probation anyway.
