Midas Auto Service Experts ripoff HARRISBURG Pennsylvania
My brakes were grinding so I thought I would take it to Midas. After an hour they told me that my brake pads and rotors needed replaced in the front and my back brakes needed deglazed. It will cost about $543.00 to fix.
I just got the front fixed and it cost me $341.77. I thought my car was ok to drive but little did I know a half hour after I left Midas my car wouldn't start. I'm thinking to myself, I just spent all this money to get my car fixed and now it won't start.
Midas is supposed to give a free courtesy check to all cars being service. They didn't do a courtesy check on my car. If they did I would of not driven my car that day until I got it fixed. Anything could of went wrong with my car and they didn't even let me know.
When I called Midas back to tell them my car wouldn't start the mechanic said he forgot to mention to me that my car seem to start kind of slow so he thinks it might be my battery. so I got my car towed to Midas so they can look at it and after 5 hours they said I needed a new starter which will cost $378.00 I took my car and got another estimate somewhere else and a starter will cost me hundreds less than what Midas wanted to charge.
Never again will I go to Midas they are a rip off
