Paul Royse (aka Pastor John)
PS. For people that dont know, Chris is the local manager at Midas on memorial. Today was the first day i met him, He was a really cool and nice guy. He never tried to argue who was right or wrong the only thing he was concerned about was that I would be a happy customer agian. Im sure if I would have went to Chris to begin with he would have resolved my compliant. Two Thumbs up!

Alan Mahrt,VP of Midas stated in his rebuttal that he wanted to resolve this but that he couldnt get ahold of me.
The car is registered and titled to the church. I dont know how Midas has it listed or what phone number.
So I called Alan's cell phone and just got voice mail, I left a message with my home number and he has never called. I have a answering machine and their was no message from Alan either.
I was encouraged by his rebuttal but see it was just smoke and mirrors for the website. Im very disappointed. Im sorry, but I still cannot recommend this shop. We cant really tell any difference in the brakes. All we know for sure is our pocketbook is over 600 dollars lighter.
Alan failed by not returning my call.
If anyone has any questions or wants more details please feel free to email our site.
Thanks,
Paul Royse (screen name aka Pastor John)

My name is Alan Mahrt, I am a vice president of this employee owned midas shop. According to our records this customer is Paul Royse not Pastor John. Paul Royse arrived at this location on May 26th at 4:30pm stating that he was getting a whooshing noise when braking and that the brake pedal goes down and was feeling soft. A test drive and inspection was performed on Mr. Royse's 1993 Cadillac that has 153729 miles. During the test drive it was confirmed and documented the brake pedal was sinking and fading. During the inspection it was determined that both rear wheel cylinders were leaking brake fluid (which is a required repair according to MAP Standards) and that the brake fluid had saturated the brake shoes. According to the MAP (Motorist Assurance Program) guidlines brake shoes soaked or saturated with brake fluid are required to be replaced. And yes it is true we needed to fix one leak (the wheel cylinders) before we could determine the state of the master cylinder. Mr. Royse was present the whole time the inspection and repair was completed. He was taken to his car after the inpection and shown the condition of everything. Mr. Royse gave us authorization to complete the repairs. As a matter of fact the repairs were not completed until 7:15pm (the shop closes at 6:00pm). Mr. Royse received a copy of the inspection forms along with his invoice that clearly explain everything. We perform follow-up calls 3 days after repairs to make sure everything was ok and on May 31st a follow up call was placed to Mr. Royse however the phone number he supplied us with has been disconnected. Since this posting I have emailed his website [email protected] trying to get in contact with him and have not received a response and since his phone is disconnected I don't know what to do. We pride ourselves on customer service and doing the right thing for people as a matter of fact we just won the North Central Dealer of the Year.
