Midas Damaged Engine Then Lied To Me About What Happened Fort Wayne Indiana
The reason I am writing this comment is to forewarn and stop potential customers from losing their money. Believe me when I say go elsewhere, before you end-up losing money like me. I went into one of the local Midas shops. My mistake was that I allowed the service manager and the mechanic pressured me into replacing the upper and lower intake gaskets I knew I did not need. One hundred miles after the mechanic replaced the gaskets the engine failed. The service manager and the mechanic said the engine failed from cracked heads and wanted me to have them replace the engine. I told the service no, I will take my car elsewhere and have the engine rebuilt. The engine did not have cracked heads. Later after researching the invoice, I found-out what caused the engine failure. The mechanic did not install all the parts and then used the wrong part numbers. Therefore if you want to deal with a dishonest business come here, if not go elsewhere. To make the matter worse; when I filed a complaint with the BBB the owner had the audacity to respond that I am slandering his name. That is had to do when all I have said is the truth.
