I went to MIDAS for a discount oil change that was too good to be true;-( The service manager said my Macpherson Struts needed replacing even though I had no complaints. He told me the wheels would fall off the car if I didn’t have this work done?
The morons at MIDAS DAMAGED the threads on one of the two knuckles on my car. The knuckle holds the front wheel to the strut. Instead of telling me they had damaged the threads, MIDAS put 10 washers on the threaded portion so they could tighten the bolt.
Thirty days later at a tire store the technician told me about the damage to my knuckle and the 10 washers MIDAS had added so they could tighten the bolt. The tire store technician said the car was UNSAFE to drive and that he could install a used knuckle for $600.00.
When I confronted MIDAS they told me to get lost and that I couldn’t prove a thing and laughed at me.
DON’T DO BUSINESS WITH MIDAS BECAUSE THEY ARE CROOKS, DEPRAVED, and INDIFFERENT!!!
They hide behind a corrupt legal system that doesn’t believe in justice or the rule of law!
