Midland Credit Management Brought outdated Citibank account, made me a 50 percent offer to settle without first varifying account information on an account that does not exist on any CRA RIPOFF San Diego, California
Well get this.
Yesterday I got a notification from Midland Credit Management Inc. that they recently purchased my CITIBANK account and as the new servicer of this account they would like to find a positive resolution to my account.
That is my CITI BANK accout that no longer exist.
I've check with all the CRA, and the account no longer exist on record. Furthermore, all my current accounts are in excellent standing. They have offered me a 50 percent settlement of $2194.05 with a limited time offer of 30 days until January 16, 2006. Wow, I guess that's a bargin when you account does not even exist any more. But it does exist since they paid 2 to 3 cents on a dollar to city bank, I guess.
Here's the scope. California has sued MCM based on these quick solutions to end the negative account information. Stating that they can easily offer pennies on the dollar at any time. But that a verification of account must exist first before they can make such an offer. They go through all the hoopla of stating they are debt collector and I have 30 days to dispute all of any part, and they will obtain a written verification of the debt, or copy of Judgement. While offering me a 30 day super offer of 50 percent.
The fact is the statue of limitations ran out in Massachuetts in 2000 for Citibank, and now they are passing the buck five years later. Back in 2003, Citi bank has sent me an apology letter for stating that they are reporting negitive information on my credit report. "We are sorry for any inconvience this may have caused you." They stated they are not reporting any negitive information.
While that is true Citibank sends my account to the wolves known as Midland Credit management, Inc. Yha, Right, CitiBank. Just wait! Now you've got me made and I'm coming after you for harrassing my husband with his accounts, and for lying under sworn oath and in court! Just Wait. And wait you Mother FU ers.. Midland.
This is what I call ENOUGH! The account does not even exist anymore. Don't get any ideas you get me to pay 1 red cent and re-age the debt. Cause, I know all the Federal and state laws, and the information is out on you; how you screw people left and right. I will take information other's write against you to the Federal court to show how decietful you Bastards really are. This I promise.
